About the Author | Dr. Bhavin Jankharia is a radiologist with a passion for chest radiology. He has been looking at interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) using CT scans since 1991.
He finished his MBBS in 1987 from L T M Medical College, Mumbai, India and then his MD radiology from T N Medical College, Mumbai, both from Mumbai University. After a 3-years, senior registrar’s stint at Bombay Hospital, he did a short fellowship in Chest Radiology at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester in 1994. He has been in practice in Mumbai, since 1995, specializing in cardiothoracic radiology, with a special focus on ILDs. He has been actively conducting workshops and multi-disciplinary meetings and has given innumerable lectures on this subject in India and abroad. He is a recognized authority in this field, both by radiologists and pulmonologists. This book is the culmination of 28-years of work in this field. |
